Deanship of Libraries Affairs Takes Part in the First Forum for the Saudi Libraries Staff

Deanship of Libraries Affairs participates in the first forum for the libraries Staff. A quite number from the Deanship of Libraries Affairs staff participated in this forum; they are Yasser abdullah Aldahsh (the head of Department of Establishing and Developing Groups); Ahmad Abdulaziz Althumeiri (the head of Department of Clients Services); Abdulrahman Nasser Alsaleh (from the department of technical procedures). The forum was hosted by Aljouf University from 26-27/4/1435. On the sidelines of the forum, there were some workshops and papers presented. Also, a number of axes pertaining to the university libraries were discussed such as catalogues, classification, supplying, audio-visual equipments as well as the challenges and aspirations of the digital educational technologies in the Saudi libraries and some other topics. The participants in this forum expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Dean of Libraries Affairs in Aljouf university Dr. Suleiman Alreiaei for their initiative of holding the first forum for the Saudi libraries staff. They also offered thanks to the University vice President for Higher Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammad abdullah Alshayea and the Dean of Libraries Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz Ibrahim Alomran for making this event success and giving the opportunity to the staff to attend the forum and take part in it in order to benefit from the experiences of other universities. This will also improve the quality of work in the libraries of Almajmaah university. The participants commended on the efforts exerted by Aljouf University for holding the first forum that hosted a number of the Saudi Universities Staff.
