World Population Day

اليوم العالمي للسكان

The world celebrates World Population Day on July 11 of each year, an annual event declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 1989 with the aim of raising awareness in communities about the importance of population issues and emphasizing their important role in sustainable development.

World Population Day also allows us at the Saudi Cifal Center to educate people about various population issues including family planning, justice and gender equality, combating poverty, and improving maternal health; all of which help in achieving the aspirations of the population which exceeds 8 billion people.
