Medical Services Organizes a Campaign of
Blood Donation at the University
The Medical Services has organized a campaign of blood donation in cooperation with
King Khalid Hospital at Majmaah Province to support the blood bank of the hospital
with various blood types.
The medical services visits every Sunday the university to hold a campaign. The
nurse Mr. Turki Al-Hemydani, the campaign supervisor mentioned that the medical
services has cooperated with the blood bank at King Khalid Hospital. He also added
that the campaign during the last month began with college’s complex on the first
week followed by community college on the second week. It also participated on the
third week in the financial and administrative affairs and the fourth week in the main
campus. The number of donators has exceeded one hundreds. He also said that this
campaign shall be conducted every academic semester with the same mechanisms.
The university deputy for academic affairs and dean of medical college Dr. Mohammad
Al-Rukban extended his thanks to the staff that ran this campaign. He also extended
his thanks to King Khalid Hospital and blood bank department in particular for their
constant cooperation to serve the community.
