Under the guidance of the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin and the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities in Ghat , Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al Shafi , the college participated in the events of the environment day in Ghat Province on Wednesday, 26.1.1434. this event was also honored by the patronage of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Sabti, and of His Excellency the Governor of Ghat: Mr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Sidairy. A committee was formed to supervise the college participation in the environment day . This committee was headed by Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Al Omer as well as Dr. Ahmed Faiz Zoubi, Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Mohaimeed and Mr. Moataz bin Abdulrahman Al Saleem as members. The college participated in the awareness campaign of the environment and the students also participated in the reforestation campaign in Ghat National park .The college has special exhibitions accompanying the event. The Deputy Minister of Education and His Excellency the Governor of Ghat visited the college exhibitions. They were welcome by Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al Bushar and Mr. Bin Sulaiman Al Tayar, Thamer Bin Saud Al-Khalidi and Mr. Mohammed Bin Ali Mohaimeed . Dr. Walid Al Bushar showed the Deputy Minister of Education the college and its Departments. The college's participation is considered as part of the university policy in achieving community partnership and the active participation in community services.
