In accordance with the directive of MU Rector Dr. Khalid Al Muqrin, under the supervision of Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofisan, and the follow-up of College Dean, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, the student/Talal Al-Madi has represented the College at the Jumbo Re International Scout Camp in Virginia, USA.
The participation in this gathering reflects the University willingness to convey the correct image of Saudi Arabia, which is a continuation of the efforts of our wise leadership in terms of peaceful coexistence and cultural communication, guided by the Kingdom's vision 2030.
This important global event is an opportunity for students to gain more experience, exchange cultures, and promote mutual understanding and cultural communication with participants from all over the world.
Jumbo Re's World Scout Camp is the largest youth gathering around the world, and is hosted by national associations represented by the Canadian Scouts, Asociación de Scouts de México, and the American Scouts at The Summit Bechtel in the Mountains of West Virginia, USA.
More than 160 national associations around the world participate in the cultural, intellectual and social events under the theme: "Unleashing a New World".
Talal Al-Madi from the College of Science and Humanities was nominated to participate in the International Service Team (IST) in this global event as a representative of the University in particular and the nation in general.
