The Enrichment Program held virtually by the Deanship of Student Affairs since Dhul Qadah as part of the cultural, social and sports activities during the summer was concluded. The program aims at helping students to utilize their leisure time by honing their skills.
The program included:
1. The “Promising Program" which featured seven courses aimed at developing students' skills through several training programs: Leadership, English, Skills Development, General Abilities, Volunteering, and Communication Skill, all of which were provided by specialized trainers in their fields.
2. The "Good Life Program” which was held for three evenings and focused on discussing a number of behavioral, psychological and social topics: Rumors and Danger, Isolation, and Anxiety.
3. The "Role model Program” which targeted those who are interested in the field of volunteering, social responsibility and scout.
4. The “My Health Program" which focused on spreading the culture of sports and home exercises by posting video clips on the deanship Twitter account and channel on YouTube.
Nearly 1000 students, including staff and people from outside the university have attended the programs.
The sports videos featured over 3,000 views.
This program is in line with the University strategic plan aimed at caring for talented and creative students, which is also consistent with the principles and objectives of the 2030 Vision of the Kingdom that aims to create a dynamic society equipped with skills which are deemed necessary for the transformation into a knowledge society.
The Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Khalid al-Ofaisan said that the enrichment program and all associated activities to develop students’ skills were held at the request of MU Rector Dr. Khalid al-Muqrin and the continuous follow-up of MU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Ahmed al-Rumaih.
The Dean of Student Affairs appreciated the efforts of the colleagues at the Deanship of Student Affairs. He also thanked the colleagues at the Deanship of E-Learning and the Deanship of Information Technology for their great cooperation in facilitating the technical aspects of the activities of the program.
