THE VICE-RECTORATE CONVENES A COORDINATION MEETING TO FOLLOW UP ON THE ACTIVATION OF THE CORRESPONDENCE TRACKING SYSTEM

The Vice-Rectorate convened a coordination meeting to follow up on the activation of the correspondence tracking system and feedback received by the working team since commencing the activation of the system. The different levels of correspondence between various university departments according to the organizational structure of the university were discussed during the meeting, as well as, the mechanism of tracking transactions, and suggestions about referral types in terms of amendment and addition, and everything that is related to the completion of adding the working committees in the university to the system. In light of the subject, His Excellency the Vice-Rector Dr. Musallam M. Al-Dosari has referred to the success that has been made in the application of the correspondence tracking system at the university recently, and the exceptional interaction between university employees in all positions towards the system, and the benefits provided by the system in; managing transactions, carrying them out quickly, following them up with ease and overcoming the obstacle of transactions reaching their designated destinations in all university departments in a timely manner. His Excellency has also pointed out; that the system will undergo observation and feedback accumulation next in order to further develop the system, and that seminars to discuss feedback and suggestions to further development and improvement will be held with university employees and specialists in correspondence tracking. At the conclusion of the meeting His Excellency the Vice-Rector has expressed his thanks to the team working on the implementation and observation of the system led by Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Aulh project manager and to the Deanship of Information Technology for their efforts in achieving all of the artistic and technical aspects required to activate the system. Finally, His Excellency the Vice-Rector attributed this achievement to the directive of His Excellency the Rector to the crucial importance of transitioning all transactions and correspondences of the university to be electronic, and His Excellency’s close observation to the different phases in achieving the correspondence tracking system and the subsequent interaction of university employees with the system application.
