The University Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren chaired in his office the 2nd consultative meeting for this year which was attended by the vice-rectors, deans of faculties and deanships and director of departments. The primary aim of this consultative meeting is to create a platform for exchanging ideas and thoughts germane to academic and administrative issues at the university level as well as evaluating the progress and overcoming any obstacle that may encounter such matters.
The secretary of the meeting, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Roshoud reviewed the agenda of the meeting which includes various topics, most importantly are the experience of Faculty of Business Administration in conducting a summer term; the initiative of the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development to qualify the university for academic accreditation; the shift of offices by the General Department of Operation & Maintenance; the flow of Correspondence Tracking System; the e-exams conducted by the Faculty of Science; the plan of social programs by the Deanship of Community Service and Continues Education; and the purchase archive by the General Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs.
The University Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren called on all departments to develop a sense of transparency and to collaborate as a one team to develop the university level.
