The Standing Committee for Plans and Study System held a meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Committee, Prof. Muhammad Al-Aboudi, the vice-rector for educational affairs.
The meeting addressed topics on the agenda including a proposal to add a course on how to deal with persons with disabilities, reviewing the university's prerequisite requirements and adding a national identity and historical depth course.
The committee recommended approving a joint qualitative program between the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Computer Science and Information at the College of Sciences in Zulfi.
The vice-rector, Prof. Al-Aboudi, pointed out that it's important to keep pace with changes in the labor market and the national visions and strategies when designing academic programs.
