In collaboration with CIFAL Center at MU and the United Nations Institute for Research and Training (UNITAR), the Human Rights Commission launches the “Human Rights Expert” training program

In the presence and honor of Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, the President of the Human Rights Commission, Dr. Hala Al-Tuwaijri, launched the “Human Rights Expert” program in partnership with Majmaah University (MU), represented CIFAL Center and the United Nations Institute for Research and Training (UNITAR). 

MU was represented by the Vice-Rector for Development and Investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, who stated in his speech that the Human Rights Expert Program is a unique initiative by the Human Rights Commission that shows its pursuit to empower human capital in the Kingdom. The preparation and implementation of this initiate came as one of the outcomes of the effective and exclusive partnership between CIFAL Center and the United Nations Institute for Research and Training. Since its inception, MU strives to contribute to empowering development initiatives with a return on the national product. MU's partnership with UNITAR manifests its pursuit to support different initiatives of national institutions in line with its strategic plan.

At the end of his speech, Prof. Al-Dosari extended his thanks and appreciation to those who played a role in conducting this program at the personal or institutional level including the Human Rights Commission and the United Nations Institute, represented by Mr. Nikhil Seth, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chairman of the Institute’s Board.
