The Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs held a forum to enhance student values and skills. The forum aims to highlight best practices and experiences in the field of enhancing student and faculty members values and skills to achieve the learning outcomes that align with the characteristics of graduates.
A welcoming speech was delivered by the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Al-Aboudi, who highlighted the importance of learning outcomes as they are closely related to controlling the quality of education to have graduates who are capable to meet the demand of market.
A group of faculty members enriched the forum with their educational experiences and practices in teaching methods and strategies. The forum addressed different topics including the importance of learning outcomes (values, skills) when designing and developing academic programs and achieving integration and coherence between curricula. The forum also emphasized that evaluating learning outcomes is an ongoing process that can be improved, developed and modified in a way that increases the desired benefit from them and achieves their goals. This act is important to have accurate and sufficient information that allow decision makers to improve the performance of academic programs.
