The Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs, represented by the Department of Measurement, Evaluation and Testing, launched the Standardized Test Center 'Jahizya' for 11 academic programs across 4 colleges: Engineering, Science, Business Administration, and Computer Sciences and Information.

The number of programs this year was increased to be four programs compared to last year. This aims to enhance students' readiness for the Education and Training Evaluation Commission tests. The Vice-Rector's Office also prepared the lists of students who will take the tests and sending them to the body supervising the tests.

Dr. Mahmoud Mahjoub, Supervisor of the Department of Measurement, Evaluation and Testing, explained that the department prepared comprehensive informational and awareness-raising media content about the tests which was published. This content included awareness messages about the importance of these tests and highlighted the incentives provided by the commission and colleges to exceptional students.

The Measurement, Evaluation and Testing Department held several meetings with the coordinators of the various programs to follow up on their preparations and provide the necessary question banks. A standardized pilot test was also conducted via the Blackboard platform to train students on how to deal with the platform before the actual tests. It also supervised the progress of the tests, which began on Sunday, January 19, and lasted for two weeks.
