Prof. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, chaired the sixth meeting of the Academic Affairs Committee which highlighted the importance of sharing successful experiences among colleges and programs to improve the development plans and educational environment. It also focused on supporting students in passing the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties exams via simulation questions and training workshops.
Prof. Al-Aboudi stressed the need to adopt best practices from exceptional programs as a reference for improving educational quality, ensuring that internal assessments align with academic and professional standards. He also highlighted the importance of developing assessment tools by incorporating indirect questioning techniques and case study analyses to enhance the quality of exams in academic programs.
As part of the university’s pursuit to digital transformation, Dr. Ahmed Al-Otaibi, the director of the Professional Certifications Department , presented a collaboration initiative with a U.S.-based cybersecurity company. This partnership aims to launch initiatives in cybersecurity to enhance technical skills in line with global standards and labor market needs.
