The Social Responsibility Observatory at Majmaah University, represented by the Family and Childhood Center, held a workshop entitled: Social Transformations in Marriage and Family: Challenges and Future Prospects. The workshop was presented by Dr. Arwa Al-Salman (Professor of Psychology at the College of Education).
The workshop focused on different topics including: social and cultural changes affecting the concept of family in Saudi Arabia, the impact of delaying the age of marriage on family formation, new trends in marriage, the impact of changing roles on the balance between family and professional life, changes in marriage standards in light of social development and the challenges facing the Saudi family, and the role of initiatives in supporting family stability.
