The Social Responsibility Observatory, represented by the Family and Childhood Center, held a workshop entitled “The Responsible Child is a Partner in Building Family and Society,” to raise awareness of the role of the child in family and community development.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Warda Al-Huqail, the Vice Dean of the College of Science and was moderated by Ms. Duaa Al-Hazmi, Supervisor of the Family and Childhood Center.
The workshop addressed several main topics including the concept of responsibility toward a child, the role of the family in instilling responsibility in the child, and the role of the school and society in promoting responsibility. The workshop also addressed the impact of the responsible child in building the family and the basics of the process of developing responsibility in the child.
