Department of Law holds a Workshop entitled “Your Academic Advisor”

As part of its plan to promote the culture of academic advising among students, the Department of Law, represented by the Academic Advising Committee, conducted a workshop at the College of Business Administration in Zulfi, entitled “Your Academic Advisor”. 32 students attended the workshop.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Mohammed Sameer, faculty member at the Department of Law, and addressed the following themes:
1. Introduction to academic advising and its importance for students during their study
2. The role of academic advisor in providing consultations and helping students to register their courses
3. The role of academic advisor in following-up underachieving students
4. The extent to which academic advisor can follow-up outstanding students and guiding them in selecting areas that fit their academic interests
A discussion and Q&A session took place at the end of the workshop.
The college is pleased to thank Dr. Sameer for presenting this workshop to educate students about academic advising and the role of academic adviser in helping students.
