Four-MA-students in Health Services and Hospital Management Program at the College of Business Administration participated in the 23rd MBAA International Conference, held in Chicago, USA from the period 27-29 March 2019.
As stated in its vision and mission, the participation of MU students in one of the pioneering conference in the United States was based on the strong belief held by MU that scientific research is significant for keeping abreast of developments in all fields and in fulfillment of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The students had the full support Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, MU Rector, and were followed-up by both Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya’a, Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Dr. Waleed Al-Bisher, Dean of Business Administration College.
Dr. Al-Bisher, Dean of Business Administration College, expressed his happiness of this participation in MBAA/BHAA International International which stands for a high quality, high value, multidisciplinary gathering of leaders from around the world with almost a half century of history to present and receive useful research, share effective pedagogy, and network in a fun and familiar setting.
Dr. Al-Bisher confirmed the College’s strong tendency to promote the importance of scientific research among students and the benefits gained from participating in international conferences and seminars to serve the community and the nation at large.
Dr. Al-Bisher extended his thanks to the participant students : Nassir Al-Safi, Ali Al-Tara’ad, Faisal Al-Shammari and Nassir Al-Gharabi and to the executive supervisor of the program, Dr. Majed Al-Ammri for his remarkable efforts to consolidate the concept of scientific research among students, a responsibility that should be assumed by faculty members to serve the community.
