The role of scientific research in the sustainable development. The role of scientific research in community service. The role of investment in scientific research. The role of scientific research in the future. The role of academic institutions and research centers in support of scientific research. Content: the event focused on that building a community of knowledge is among the priorities of the modern world in all its aspects and dimensions, and the cornerstone of this knowledge community is scientific research in all its forms and manifestations. Scientific research is the core of the world's developed and developing countries, and countries are racing to get a head start on Science. That made those countries harness all the potential in the service of science and scientists, funding for studies and research that could improve their national income. Expansion of the field of scientific research may contribute to the advancement of the developing countries, making these countries capable of reserving their places among the developed countries. However, the questions remain: To what extent will the governments and people harness the potentials for this purpose? And how can they benefit from their scientific reservoir? The workshop came as part of the activities of “Research Week Program” held at the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education in Zulfi from 05 to 09/05/1437 Ah.
