SELF EVALUATION FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
SELF EVALUATION FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS A seminar entitled “SELF EVALUATION FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS” was held on 17/6/1438 AH and took place in the main building (classroom no.68). The seminar targeted faculty members and administrators and addressed the following aspects: -The basics of quality assurance system and academic accreditation of programs. - The relation between the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) and quality programs. - The relation between qualifications and program evaluation. - The relation between institutional evaluation and program evaluation. - The measurements of self evaluation. - The fundamentals of academic programs description. - The description and writing reports of educational programs and courses. -Explanation of writing a self study. The seminar included a number of principles to achieve academic accreditation such as: Explaining the bases of quality assurance and academic accreditation based on the standards of (NCAAA), clarifying the most important elements of qualifications, illustrating the main documents for quality assurance system and programs accreditation in (NCAAA). Furthermore, it included forms of performance indicators along with the way of using self evaluation measurements.
