ZULFI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION HOLDS A TRAINING SESSION ON THE RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Presenter: Dr. Abdulmaqsoud Moawad Salamah. Title: The Rights and Duties of University Students. Location: Zulfi Colleges Complex Theater. Date: 01/02/1438 AH. Target group: college students. Objectives: 1- To Inform students of their rights and duties. 2- To Inform students of the rights and duties of faculty members, administration staff members and all other university employees. 3. To help students achieve social and psychological security for themselves in order to create a safe, educational and innovative learning environment. 4- To inform students of university rules of public conduct in order to encourage them to carry themselves accordingly. 5- Promoting the values of loyalty and patriotism among the students. 6- Strengthening the students’ sense of justice and objectivity by implementing student conventions and regulations transparently. 7- To help students perform their tasks and activities with objectivity, transparency and high efficiency. 8- To refrain from any action that may constitute, directly or indirectly, a violation of university regulations. 9- To teach students accountability so that every student will be responsible for his actions and behavior. In collaboration with the Educational Sciences Department and the Quality Assurance Unit at the college, the Student Activities Unit held a training session, as part of its action plan, titled "The Rights and Duties of University Students". It took place on Tuesday 01/02/1438 AH, and was held in Zulfi Colleges Complex Theater. Dr. Abdulmaqsoud Moawad Salamah presented the session, in which he reviewed and explained to the students their academic and non-academic rights and duties in the university. At the end of the session, both faculty and students praised him on his presentation, and recommend further sessions that pertain to the students. Such activities develop productive thinking and comprehension of critical concepts, and spread moral culture among the students.
