In cooperation with the College of Science and Humanities in Hawtat Sudair, the Department of Educational Science conducted a qualifying program for students to be prepared for internship. The program features a talk by the vice-dean for educational affairs, Dr. Fahad Al-Sherari, who commended the role played by the department and its staff in teaching courses.
The head of the department, Dr. Mohammed Aba-Hussein, talked about the role of the department in guiding internship students to utilize supervisors’ tips and to practice the acquired knowledge and skills as well as how to establish a good relationship with the school administration (e.g. attendance, class management).
A presentation was given by the coordinator of the department, Dr. Fahad Al-Nughaimish, which focused on highlighting the value of teaching profession and then encouraged them to exert efforts during the internship period and to engage with the community of teachers and staff to learn new skills.
Dr. Saad Al-Homoud, a faculty member in the department, mentioned outstanding examples of teachers who have changed students’ life for better.
Among the participants in this program are Mr. Fahad Al-Muwayjed, head of education office, and Mr. Nasser Al-Mejel, principle of Al-Mejel Middle School.
Thanks were extended to Dr. Al-Nughaimish for the success of this program.
