Within the framework of the College of Education in Majmaah to improve the quality of programs outcomes and the performance of students in Aptitude Test for Teachers, a training course entitled “Preparatory Course for Aptitude Test for Teachers” was held by the college on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The course, presented by Mousa Al-Layfan, began by a talk for the dean, Dr. Majed Aba-Hussein who highlighted the importance of the test and how students should be ready to pass it.
The aim of the course is to equip graduated students with the skills of answering questions related to educational and linguistics standards in the test. It also provided students with background about the test which is designed to measure the minimum standards that should be found in potential teachers such as knowledge and skills.
The results of the exam are used for different purposes such as the process choosing between applicants for educational jobs by concerned authority at the Ministry of Education.
Approximately 300 students participated in the course who took a pilot test by the end of the course along with feedback.
The vice-dean for student affairs, Dr. Saleh bin Mayof extended his thanks to student and presented a plaque to the trainer Mr. Al-Layfan.
