His Excellency the Vice Rector of the University for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al Rumaih, has paid a visit to the Faculty of Education in Majmaah, within the framework of visits paid by the Vice Presidency of the University for Colleges to stop on the educational and academic process in those colleges. Dr. Al Rumaih has initiated the visit by visiting exams halls, to inquire about the conduct of tests in those halls. Then he met the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al Sabet, and in the presence of male and female Vices Dean of the college, and male and female heads of departments, where the Dean of the College welcomed the Vice Rector then he explained the orientations of the management of the College, followed by a presentation and discussion of overall achievements of the College, in addition to some of the challenges that stand in the way of achievement, and the ways to deal with them. At the end of the visit, Dr. Al Rumaih stressed on the keenness of the university leadership to meet the needs of the colleges and follow-up their status, and provide the appropriate educational and academic environment confirming that this interest comes in the framework of the guidance of His Excellency the Rector of the University to determine the needs of the colleges and Deanships at the university. On his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Education expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Vice Rector of the University for Educational Affairs for such a good visit adding that this visit paid by him is not a surprising one, because of his care and keenness of all that would upgrade the process of work at the University and overcome all the obstacles that stand in the way of work, as well as to meet all the needs that serve the educational and academic process at the University. On the sidelines of this visit, Dr Al Rumaih has met with the Director of Measurement and Assessment in the unit of Measurement at the college, where the members of the Unit delivered a presentation on the status of the Unit, as well as the future plans for the programs of the College, in addition to discuss all the issues associated with tests and assessment.
