The College of Education, represented by the Vice-Dean’s Office for Student Affairs, in cooperation with King Khalid Hospital, preschool department, educational science and Islamic studies, held a program to celebrate the world diabetes day on Sunday at 9 am.
A group from the hospital set up a section at the college where students and staff can measure their sugar.
Dr. Najwah Ahmed, a physician at the hospital, delivered a lecture on diabetes: its symptoms, causes, diagnose and treatments.
The college’s departments have also participated in the celebration to raise students’ awareness with this disease.
