College of Engineering held a training course on how to use fire extinguishers
In collaboration with the General Administration of Occupational and Environmental Health, the College of Engineering held a training course on how to use fire extinguishers. The course was organized by the Occupational and Environmental Health Unit at the College of Engineering in cooperation with the General Administration of Occupational and Environmental Health to train students on fire extinguishing. Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Moheisen, the Vice-Dean of the College of Engineering for Quality and Development, attended the training course, and the members of the evacuation and emergency team of the College of Engineering participated in field training in practical operations of fire extinguishing using different types of fire extinguishers. Mr. Mehalhal El- Naja’e of the General Department of Occupational and Environmental Health at MU presented a scientific lecture on the types of fire extinguishers and how to use each type as well as the pros and cons of each type of them. Mr. Sultan Al-Mutairi also trained the members of the evacuation and emergency team of the College of Engineering on the real experience of the practical use of fire extinguishers.
