In continuation of the university series of achievements in the academic and administrative fields, The College Deanship has set up a scholarship unit to deal with all that the recipients would need, starting from their wish to join one of the graduate programs, whether at home or abroad. This attention and such follow-up are also guaranteed during the students scholarship in their respective universities.
The meeting took place on Monday 18/02/1434 Hijri, at twelve o'clock, at the college honors Hall where Dr.: Mohsen Bin Abdul Rahman Mohsen, the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, gave a lecture ( the Chairman of the scholarship and Training Committee at the university).
The meeting started with reciting some verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a brief speech by Dr. Tarek Bin Sulaiman Albahlal, Dean, in which he highlighted the college efforts of attracting national experts – recipients of the Guardian of the Two Holy Sites Scholarship Program in the past two years. He also explained the College endeavor to deal with and overcome obstacles that may arise.
His Excellency the Vice President talked about the most important steps which must be followed by the scholarship recipient, from obtaining a university approval of a master's or doctoral program even after his return and his retaking his position at his college. Those steps included entrusting lectures and language instructors with administrative work, the importance of selecting the right university. He also stressed the need for the scholarship recipient to acquire the studying approach by the end of his program, and to be aware of the regulations governing the scholarship criteria at the Majmaa University. He must also be familiar with the scholarship regulations in the hosting country.
And since the major purpose of this meeting was to answer questions by lecturers and language instructors from students departments, Dr. / Omar Bin Salem Saidy, Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs directing, moderated the meeting by taking and directing the questions asked by lecturer an instructors from male and female sections whom they contacted by video conferencing. His Excellency the Vice President answered all the questions and inquiries.
