Social Networks And Their Impact On Student Behavior

The Student Support Unit, in cooperation with the Training and Public Relations Unit at the College, organized a training course for students entitled "Social Networking and its Impact on Student Behavior" presented by Dr. Jalal Al-Siddiq on Wednesday, 02/06/1438 in Hall NO.183. The course addressed internet history, social networking sites, their classification and the negative effects of these sites on Muslim youth, so that they are aware of those effects, which might be ethical, health, educational, economic or psychological and therefore seek to replace them instead with sports programs at schools and universities. Other issues were also addressed, such as the causes of delayed marriage, restoring good family traditions that bring together relatives from time to time, supporting family and media awareness of the social and moral dangers resulting from the misuse of these networks. Scientific and skill courses were held to train young men who wanted to volunteer for community work in this field. The session concluded with answering the questions of the audience.
