Al Shajrah Al Tayba Farm in Ghat

Under the guidance of the Dean of College of Science and Humanities in Ghat, Dr. Omer bin Mohammed Al Omar, the Unit of Student Activities, represented by the Social Committee headed by Dr. Ali Al Sayed Hussien Abu Diab, and 15 students visited Al Shajrah Al Tayba Farm in Ghat on Tuesday 29/2/1440 AH.
Al Shajrah Al Tayba Farm is one of the largest farms in Ghat. It uses the latest technology in agriculture and employs 45 workers.
Mr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Habdan introduced the students to growing vegetables in greenhouses, marketing the farm’s products, date types, packing dates, and marketing dates in local markets and exporting them abroad.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, said such visits come as part of the College's plan to organize many activities, visits, programs and events to develop students' skills.
