Dr. Mohammed Issa, Supervisor of the Student Support Unit, gave a training course entitled "Effective Study Skills" on Tuesday 27/5/1439.
This course aims at teaching the skills of effective learning, enabling students to study well in order to enhance retention.
The course addressed the keys to high achievement and these are: 1. Realizing the importance of science and learning. 2. Avoid peer-pressure. 3. Doing homework and revising lessons daily. 4. Managing time and setting academic priorities according to the time available. 5. Studying related topics in one session. 6. Linking given knowledge with new information.
At the end of the lecture, the Dean thanked the Student Support Unit for providing such training programs that develop students’ academic performance.
