The training course was held on Monday, 22/5/1440 H, within the framework of the activities of the Academic Counseling Week and in compliance with the directives of the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities, Dr. Omar Bin Mohammed Al Omar and the follow-up of the Vice-Dean of the College for Educational Affairs, Dr. Osama Altamami
The aim of the course is to improve the performance of academic counseling. The course, which targeted students of the Department of English Language, was presented by Dr. Abdullatif Mamoun and concentrated on showing the concept of counseling, its aspects, its academic role, its importance in the educational process, the duties of the academic counselor, the objectives of academic counseling and its fields, and the role of the student in the counseling process.
Al Omar expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Student Support Unit for offering such training programs that develop the academic side of the students.
