At the request of the Dean, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, the Student Activity Unit, represented by Social Committee, paid a visit to Ghat National Park.
24 students joined the visit under the supervision of Dr. Ali Abo-Dhiyab along with two other supervisors.
Ghat National Park, a major tourist destination in Ghat, is a unique place and rich in biodiversity in terms of its location (i.e. dry region) and represents the environment of Jabal Tuwaiq in Najd region.
The manager of the park provided an exhaustive explanation to students about the role of the park in preserving the environment.
The students the then toured the park and learned about the types of trees and protected animals.
The Dean said such visits indicate that the college is ready to hold more programs and activities for students who are encouraged to actively take part in them.
