A Workshop on Academic Advising held by College of Business Administration

As part of its plan to promote the culture of academic advising among students, the Academic Advising Unit at the College of Business Administration conducted a workshop, entitled ‘Academic Advising’.

Presented by both Dr. Amjad al-Sharafaa from the Department of Accounting and Dr. Basheer al-Fareedy from the Department of Business Administration, the workshop addressed the following topics:

• What is academic advising
• Goals and importance of academic advising
• Mechanisms of academic advising
• The role of advising in improving academic performance
• Forms used for academic advising
