Department of Law conducts a course entitled “Arbitration as an alternative to the state’s judiciary in settling disputes.”

As part of the training plan of the Department of Law for the academic year 1442/1443, the department has conducted a virtual course entitled “Arbitration as an alternative to the state’s judiciary in settling disputes.”

The course was presented by Dr. Yasser Bader, a faculty member, and addressed the following themes:

  1. What is international commercial arbitration, its legal nature, and its parties.
  2. How to draft the arbitration agreement or arbitration clause
  3. The advantages of arbitration at the national and international levels.
  4. Matters in which arbitration is not permissible.
  5. Arbitration procedures
  6. Arbitration and the conditions for its validity and implementation
  7. The spread of arbitration culture at the organizational level in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  8. Accredited arbitration centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
