Under the patronage of MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren and in the presence of the vice-rector for educational affairs, Dr. Mohammed al-Obudi, a virtual seminar to be held by the College of Education in Majmaah, in cooperation with the Department of Education, entitled “Teachers: Leaders during crisis & future makers”.
The seminar was launched by an opening statement for the dean of the college, Dr. Majed aba-Hussein followed by a talk delivered by the vice-rector, Dr. al-Obudi, and then a speech by the director of Education in Majmaah, Mr. Yousef al-Mulhem.
The first session of the seminar will focus on the role of teachers as leaders during crisis and was moderated by the vice-dean for graduate studies, Dr. Ali al-Dukhail. The presenters in this session are: Dr. Musaed al-Harbi, vice-dean at Deanship of Library Affairs, Mr. Nora al-Rukban, assistant director of Education for educational affairs, Mr. Zuhair al-Ghamdi, Dr. Fahad al-Nughaimish and Ms. Haylah al-Taweel.
The second session, moderated by the vice-dean for educational affairs, Dr. Khalid al-Nasser, addressed the role of teachers as future makers. The presenters are: Dr. Tanaf al-Otaibi, head of Arabic Language Department, Dr. Jawaher al-Uhaydab, head of Biology Department, Dr. Nawal al-Musned and Ms. Hessah al-Ghatani.
The last one dealt with educational aspects and was moderated also by Dr. al-Nasser. The presenters in this session are: Dr. Dheeb al-Osaimi, head of Islamic Studies Department, Dr. Majed al-Harbi, Dr. Nouf al-Mutairi and Ms. Seham al-Mutairi.
