Hosted virtually by Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, MU participated in the 11th College of Education’s Deans Meeting in Saudi Arabia. The university was represented by both the dean of College of Education in Majmaah, Dr. Majed Aba-Hussein and the dean of College of Education in Zulfi, Dr. Nasser al-Othman.
During the meeting, Prof. Ibrahim al-Bedawi, advisor of Ministry of Education, addressed the final stage of teacher preparation program. The meeting also focused on the Saudi universities’ proposals of a structure for the college of education in line with the recent trends in education.
Dr. Aba-Hussein pointed out that this meeting is important as it deals with the suggestions of college of education’s programs and structures.
Dr. al-Othman said that the role of college of educations in providing programs to the community was also among the topics raised in the meeting.
Both of the deans extended their thanks to MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren for their support to take part in such events which would have a positive impact on the university performance.
