The College of Education holds a lecture entitled: Building a Moderate Personality

In cooperation with the Intellectual Awareness Unit, and under the patronage of the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammad Al-Shehri, a lecture entitled: Building a Moderate Personality was presented by Dr. Arwa Al-Salman - Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Department of Educational Sciences.

The speaker highlighted the importance of this topic, as moderation is an approach perpetuated by Sharia and adopted by the state.

Dr. Al-Salman mentioned the components of moderated personality and the factors influencing it, the types of normal and abnormal personalities and the characteristics of the moderate personality before turning to extremism including its concept and causes. She explained how to form a moderate personality and concluded with the role of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in forming a moderate personality as well as our role in achieving this vision. 

Dr. Khalid Al Saif, Supervisor of the Intellectual Awareness Unit, answered many inquiries. Prof. Ibrahim Al Hussainan talked about the types of personalities and their impact on society. The lecture was well received. More than (250) people attended the lecture including students, university staff, and members of the community.
