Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Saleh Al-Dahesh, the College of Engineering, represented by the Community Service Unit and the Student Activities Unit, in cooperation with the Observatory of Social Responsibility, held a workshop entitled "How to register in the national platform for volunteer work".
The workshop was presented by Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Omar, supervisor of the National Platform for Volunteer Work At the university for faculty members and students of the College of Engineering on Wednesday.
In a welcoming speech, the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Saadouni, highlighted the importance of the workshop for student to contribute to volunteer work.
The workshop addressed many topics including the impact of volunteer work in building the personality of an individual who is able to bear responsibility and cooperate with everyone, areas of volunteer works, and how to register in the National Platform for Volunteer Work.
