Under the patronage of Dr. Saleh Al-Dahesh, the Dean of the College of Engineering, and in the presence of Dr. Anas Al-Muneef, Vice Dean for Educational Affairs and Development, the Engineering Club at the College of Engineering organized a national celebration for Founding Day in the main hall of the student buildings. The event was attended by heads of department , faculty members, administrative staff, and students from the college.
The Engineering Club presented a special presentation narrating the journey of Saudi Arabia’s founding, highlighting the sacrifices and heroism of past generations who defended the homeland and upheld the flag of unity. Their efforts ensured that Saudi Arabia reached stability, progress, and prosperity.
The Dean of the College launched the Saudi Heritage and Folklore Exhibition, which featured several booths showcasing the story of the nation's founding. Among the highlights was an exhibit of traditional hand tools used by ancestors for extracting, transporting, and storing groundwater. The exhibition also included a Saudi heritage wing, displaying personal, household, and decorative items that reflect the Kingdom’s rich historical legacy across various aspects of life.
The engineering students recited poetic verses celebrating the glory of the nation and the significance of Founding Day.
