At the request of the dean, Dr. Omar al-Omar, the Training Unit associated with the Vice-Dean’s Office for Development & Quality, in cooperation with the Research Unit, conducted a training course on using the Statistics and Data Analysis (SPSS).
The course addressed the role of descriptive statistics in classifying and arranging data and the inferential statistics in deducing properties of an underlying distribution of probability.
The course also featured the process of entering data in SPSS software.
Emphasizing the significance of research, the dean pointed out that many training courses should be conducted for faculty members to improve their skills.
