Department of English Language Contest on National Day

At the request of the dean, Dr. Omar al-Omar and under the supervision of the head of the Department of English Language, Dr. Ali al-Saawy, a contest was launched on how students can express their patriotism to their country in English. The contest features several categories including best short essay, best phrase and best short video.

The contest was announced publically on all social medial platform for both male and female students.

Winners were announced on Tuesday as follow:

 Best short video:

First winner: Abdelelah al-Otaibi

Second winner: Ahlam al-Arayfit

Best phrase:

First winner: Arooj Mershad

Best short essay:

First winner: Abdelaziz al-Mutairi

Second winner: Abdelrahman al-Melahi
