A visit to the astronomical observatory in Hawtat Sudair

At the request of the dean of the College of Sciences and Humanities in Ghat, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, and under the supervision of the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Bassem Al-Laheeb, the Student Activities Unit carried out a visit to the astronomical observatory in Hawtat Sudair on Wednesday 08/21/1443 AH. The visitors were welcomed and were introduced to the services offered by the observatory. 

Mr. Abdullah Al-Khudairi gave a full explanation of astronomical telescopes and how to use them, the solar system with its different components in terms of physical and kinetics, various nebulae and galaxies in their different shapes and types, the real and apparent movement of the moon and how the eclipses occur.
