A delegation of quality and skills development deanship headed by Dr. Khalid Al-Jarallah, deputy-dean for quality and academic accreditation Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Rebaya’an and the supervisor of skills development deputyship Mr. Yasser Al-Huzeimy paid a visit to the engineering college on Sunday 16/7/1434 H. The delegation was received by His Excellency the dean of engineering college Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah.
Dr. Al-Salamah expressed his gratitude for this visit and stressed the importance of the cooperation between the engineering college and deanship of quality and skills development. He also emphasized the significance of developing the skills of faculty members in the field of academic quality in order to be ready for the academic accreditation which requires using the English language as a medium of instruction in teaching. He also required the deanship to communicate with the college in English.
The delegation gave a presentation about the achievements of the deanship and the future plans with regard to quality and the preparation of academic programs and their accreditation.
The delegation also met the head of quality center at the college in presence of the center’s members. A brief presentation was given about the importance of exploiting the results of initial self-assessment of the college. He also highlighted the significance of focusing on the suggestions provided by the college.
Eventually, the floor was opened for discussion and inquiries by faculty members. At the end of the meeting, the college’s members extended their thanks to the deanship of quality and skills development for this initiative and efforts to enhance the performance quality of the university.
