The gym of Deanship of Students' Affairs is considered an outlet for University students as the number of students who visits the gym every day exceeds eighty three students from different faculties. The university's gym has been developed remarkably fast, and it is distinguished by the following sections: - 1 – Weight-lifting Section: Students receive training under the supervision of a coach in sporting programs for beginners, intermediate and advanced. In these programs, students go through these three stages in order to be able to practice body- building properly and correctly. All thanks be to Allah that the outcomes of this section were distinctive and satisfactory as many students benefited from these programs, especially those who were underweight; they were able to gain more and maintain the ideal weight. Also, those students who suffer from sports injuries benefited a lot from this section and have completed their rehabilitation program and resumed their daily activities and sports with a sense of well-being and safety. 2 – Individual Games Section: Students play (table tennis) and the supervisor of the gym organizes individual and group contests that are full of competition and enthusiasm provided that sporting spirit and ethics are kept up. 3 – Football Section: A lot of students love football in general, and students play this kind of sport on a regular basis that the defeated team can no longer takes a part. These competitions begin after the afternoon (asr) prayer until sunset (maghrib) time. 4 – Electronic Games and TV Shows Section: A very big number of students visit this section for taking advantages of the services provided by Deanship of Student Affairs such as access to all international and local sports channels, play station games and Internet service. 5 – Group Exercises Section: The gym trainer designed a special program for students where students do all aerobic exercises that aim to lose weight and raise the level of fitness. This section is considered a very essential thing for many students since the number of attendance exceeds forty every day. In fact, all students receive training systematically on a regular basis. The timing of this program is after sunset (maghrib) prayer until isha. Not only students, but also faculty members benefit from the gym as they feel it is their favorite place after a long day of work. The gym has created a very enjoyable atmosphere. It also helps to improve student's personality and manage time. The gym's supervisor the couch Ali Mohammed Algheilan pointed out that these developments in the gym come as a result of continuous monitoring by his Excellency Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi who is always concerned with youth activities and programs that serve students best.
