Under the auspices of his Excellency the Dean of the Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi and in the presence of his Excellency the Deanship vice Dean for student activities and a number of the university staff, the administration of sporting activities in the Deanship concluded the university football tournament for the academic year 1434/1435 on Monday evening 2/12/1434. The final match was between the team of Faculty of Business Administration and Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in Hootat Sadeer, and it ended in favor of Faculty of Business Administration team 2/1. In fact, the match was full of enthusiasm and competition. In the previous match, Faculty of Education team in Alzulfi achieved the third place after beating the Faculty of Education team in Almajma'ah. At the end of the game, the winning teams and players, success partners and referees had the honor to receive their prizes from the sponsor of the match his Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi. His Excellency conferred honor upon the success partners who are the office of youth care in Almajma'ah; Alzulfi clubs in Alzulfi, Alhamadah club in Alghat and Sedeer Club in Jalajel for hosting the tournament matches and supervising the medical services during the matches and managing security and safety in the university and during the tournament matches. Also, his Excellency conferred honor upon the final match referees who are Mr. Khalaf Alsagheer (the supervisor of the referees), Mr. Nayef Almarrikhi (a referee), Mr. Abdullah Altuweijri (a first assistant), Mr. Abdullah Aljandal (a second assistant) and Mr. Naser Altuweijri. The player of Faculty of Sciences and Humanities team in Hootat Sadeer Mr. Aseel Alrabei'a received the cup of the best player in the tournament. The goalkeeper of the team of Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in Hootat Sadeer Mr. Abdullah Alma'ayouf received the cup of the best goalkeeper in the tournament. Moreover, the player of the team of Faculty of Business Administration Mr. Salem Khaibari received the cup of the tournament scorer. On the other side, the Faculty of Education team players received the bronze medals for achieving the third place; the players of Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in Hootat Sadeer received the silver medals for achieving the second place; the players of the team of Faculty of Business Administration received the golden medals and the tournament cup for achieving the first place in the football tournament. This was cited by the supervisor of scouting and sporting activities Mr. Naser Alhanou who offered thanks and appreciation to his Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi for sponsoring the final matches of the tournament, providing continuous support and follow-up for all sporting activities. Mr. Alhanou also expressed his thanks to all the participating teams and all success partners for their contribution that led to success. Finally, he thanked all his colleagues in the administration of sporting activities for their continuous efforts.
