Under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef Al-Bunyan, Majmaah University, represented by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, participated in the First Saudi Forum for Graduate Studies under the theme "The Future of Graduate Studies in Light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030", which was held at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University during the period October 21-23, 2024. Several sectors, including universities, government commissions, research and training centers participated in the event.
The forum aims to enhance knowledge of graduate programs in Saudi universities, and motivate cooperation between local and international universities, and public and private sector institutions; to create a distinguished educational environment that contributes to the development of higher education in the Kingdom in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
A number of speakers participated in the forum including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, the National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation, and the Human Capacity Development Program.
A scientific symposium and workshops were conducted that highlighted the main themes of the forum and they are: "The role of graduate programs in achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030", and "Quality and excellence in graduate programs".
The Deanship set up a booth in the exhibition where visitors could go through the deanship's guides and publications about the graduate programs available at the university.
