In conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Gifted Center and the Disability Care Center, conducted a workshop for students with disabilities, in cooperation with Obour Center in Majmaah and the Arts Club.
The workshop is part of the activities organized by the university on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and focused on the importance of raising the public awareness about the issues of persons with disabilities and how to ensure they engage in the academic and cultural community. The Participants were given the opportunity to express their feelings through drawing and colors.
The event aims to achieve multiple main goals, including appreciating the capabilities of persons with disabilities by highlighting their creativity and talents and highlighting their artistic capabilities, enhancing community integration by creating a comprehensive artistic environment that brings together students from different groups to encourage interaction and cooperation between them.
The event also aims to spread awareness of the role of persons with disabilities in society and support the concept of inclusiveness by promoting the values of acceptance and cooperation.
