MU wins two silver medals at the 15th International Invention Exhibition in the Middle East and two gold medals from the Innovations and Inventions Authority of the Kingdom of Morocco

MU won two silver medals at the 15th International Invention Exhibition in the Middle East, held in Kuwait. 180 inventors from 42 Arab and foreign countries participated in the exhibition with  230 inventions. MU’s team also received two gold medals from the Innovations and Inventions Authority of the Kingdom of Morocco for two inventions: a device for measuring hemoglobin levels and red blood cell count and an insulin and glucagon pump device.

Many students participated in the exhibition from the Applied Medical Sciences College and they are: Mohammed Al-Mutairi, Khalid Al-Mutairi, Hamoud Al-Suwaiqi, and Bandar Al-Muntashiri. The team was supervised by Prof. Raed Al-Brada’i from the Medical Laboratories Department at the Applied Medical Sciences College, with the support of Mr. Majed Al-Shunaifi, Coordinator of the Deanship of Student Affairs.

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Bader Al-Sulami, pointed out that this exhibition serves as a vital platform for creative minds to showcase their talents on a global stage. He affirmed that such events and forums play a significant role in highlighting the innovative ideas of the university’s student inventors.
