Medical Services Holds a Campaign of Blood Donation for Two Days in Cooperation with Blood Bank in King Khaled Hospital in Almajma’ah.
Within its continuous campaigns of blood donations, the medical services organized a campaign for blood donation in the university city for two days Tuesday and Wednesday 28-29/4/1436 in cooperation with King Khaled Hospital in Almajma’ah for supporting the blood bank in the hospital with the varied blood groups. The executive manager for medical services Dr. Rayan Barakati opened this campaign and spoke on it: All praise be to Allah for making it easy to open this campaign that is always organized by the medical services that our brothers from blood bank in King Khaled Hospital in Almajma’ah participate and provide help constantly. Cooperation always takes place between us for the sake of helping other in need of blood transfer. He also spoke on the importance of blood donation as it is a noble behavior and humane initiative from a sound person to an ill person who is bleeding because of an incident or a surgery and they need some blood to survive by the will of Allah as the drops of blood become very precious as they save a person from death. Moreover, he explained that blood donation is a health certificate states that you are sound as every blood donator is subject to a thorough medical check-up and a blood check in laboratory, and a certificate that states a person is clear of diseases such AIDS, Syphilis Malaria and hepatitis. In the event of any problem, blood bank provides necessary consultation with specialized consultants and directing a patient to the suitable body to follow-up the situation. Also, blood donation helps activate the bone marrow produce new blood cells that are able to carry a big amount of oxygen to the main body parts such as (brain…helps more concentrate and activate the body). The constant blood donator in blood bank receives special treatment when they or their family members need blood in the future God forbids, specially in the case the blood group required is available.
