Under the directives of His Highness the Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren and His Vice-Rector, the medical services paid a visit to Rawdat Sudair on Thursday 15/11/1432H at the social development yard. The medical services provided a medical check-up, diabetes measurement, blood-pressure, dental treatment as well as the promoting for public health awareness, said the vice-rector Dr. Ibraheem Al-Hugeil who also pointed out the importance of participating in such public health event to educate the society and elevate the level of awareness with issues related to health. Dr. Al-Hugeil also mentioned the medical services include a number of medical clinics, dentistry clinics, pharmacy and a distinguished medical cadre.
The number of visitors reached 95 patients, including 35 cases sent to dentistry clinics and 60 cases sent to abdominal clinic. 27 cases had their diabetes measured, none of which required a transfer to hospitals.
Gifts were distributed to visitors which represent the importance of health awareness and the role of the university. The visitors extended their thanks to His Highness the Rector and promie to repeat the visit once again.
