The Mobile Medical Services of the University Organizes Field Visits to Hejrat Albarzah to Provide Medication and Education
A field visit was made by the mobile medical services to Hejrat Albarzah, which is located 100 kl north Majmaah. The purpose of such visit is to make a medical and environmental SURVEY to citizens and foreigners as well as providing medical services to residents. The number of cases that were diagnosed reached 114 cases, 77 cases for the general physicians, 23 cases for dentistry and 14 cases for dressing clinic. A blood sample was taken from 30 people and analyzed in the laboratory of the medical center. The preventive medicine team made an inspective tour to check the Environmental Health and Occupational Health for schools and governmental sectors and to educate students as well as teacher with the importance of ventilation in classrooms. Students were also advised to take care of their personal cleanness so they could avoid a lot of diseases. a number of 3 samples were taken from the water (chemical and bacteriological) and diagnosed in the central lab of Majmaah. The results revealed that 2 wells are not valid for use due to the high percentage of colon bacteria.
